A moron needs some help.
I've got a spare alternator I tore apart to rebuild now can't remember what order the 3 collars or spacers go,there are 2 that go on each side of the bearing and one between the fan and pulley. Anybody got the info on this? I've searched the net for a diagram, schematic but can't find anything. Thanks.

.396 is actually 10mm x 25.5 diameter GM# 1978064 (WAI 46-1601-1) .232 is actually 5.8mm x 25.5 diameter GM# 1985999 (WAI 46-1617-1) If a person were needing these the WAI information would likely be used by all after-market vendors. Last edited by WVZR-1; 11-05-2017 at 12:01 PM. |

Re: A moron needs some help.
Knowing the dimensions of these two if you were to disassemble a CS144 for an LT5 the 3d on the rotor shaft behind the bearing would be the "other than".
