This is the time for people to donate to reputable charities if at all possible, if your like me and like to see where your money goes, bring money/stuff directly to a shelter or center.
One story you guys, my wife and I drove over to Memorial Area Ministries earlier to bring a bunch of stuff to them. Turns out what they really needed was what we did not bring, toiletries. So we drove over to the Dollar store and picked a bunch of stuff. While there there was this fella walking the aisles and he made me uneasy, (spider sense heightened). So as we are checking out with the only cashier, he dashed out the door with a full cart into a waiting pick up. Really no kidding! they are out there and I think its going get worse before it backs to normal. People will do crazy stuff when they are desparate.

What about the Billionaire Tax Exempt Preacher Joel Osteen? Is he doing anything to help? I guess God told him to stay home and watch Fake News.

We just sent a loaded Canadian C-130 Hercules down with a load of baby food, cribs and other things requested. Best wishes to all.

Irma to hit Haiti by Friday, Cat 3 now.

Irma has been upgraded to Cat 5 now. Islands and East Coast in the crosshairs.

Lee, has the other shoe dropped? Just now getting to some areas that flood waters have finally receded from. Here's a photo of the "storage yard" near the Royal Purple drag strip in Baytown!1505770007228.jpg

For us we are really wrapping up the event, if we are reflective of the what the market experienced we were short of the low end of the industry projection; originally they said 300-500K cars lost. It might be more in the 150K-200K range if the market reflects what we saw.

Proud to say we handled most of these claims in about 1/5 the time you would typically see.

People in Texas were great to work with and it felt good to assist those in need.....most were shocked at how fast we paid the claims.

That's good news! You should be justifiably proud of your company. Thanks from all of us Texans!
