I work for VP racing fuels at Orlando Speed World. So I took my Zr-1 to the
track to make a few runs while i sold racing fuel. I have rpl the fx shocks with qa1's removed controller so no codes come up. Adjust fronts to 0 clicks and rears to 4 clicks 26 lbs in rear tires (M/T). I also had the convertor rebuilt . I now leave at 2200 to 2400 rpm . The runs are as follows: #1. 60 ft 1.742 1/8 7.636 @ 94.99 mph 1/4 11.902 @ 115.10 mph hum 78% temp 85 deg. AT 11:20 a.m. #2. 60 ft 1.707 1/8 7.604 @ 92.96 mph 1/4 11.858 @ 114.46 mph hum 70% temp 88 deg last pass 60 ft 1.672 1/8 7.558 @ 92.99 1/4 11.825 @ 114.91 hum 62% temp 89 deg I had a good day did not break anything and sold fuel to the other racers. I wonder if my times are close to the FBI groups this Sunday. Thanks again Pete for the help with my auto install on my ZR-1. (2004) JOHN 1990 # 2546 white/black one of a few auto (4l80E ) eq. Zr-1's |

Great times, I'm sorry but I cant remember, does your 80e have the stock 2.48:1 1st gear, or the aftermarket 2.75 or 3.0:1 1st gear?

Great times. I've been trying to get in the elevens with my stock motor car for a long time.
That quick 60ft. Time on the last run was obviously the reason for the great e.t. There are few, if any, stock motor ZR-1's that can do 60ft. In the 1.60's. What tires are you running? |

Well since then i Rpl the M/T 315-35-17 drag radial with a new set of M/T
315-35-17 S/S tires. On Jan 8,2017 ran my best times. Track well prepped air temp 43-53 deg sun out, all the cars were running there best times. Made two runs 1st pass at 10:30 am 60 ft 1.642 1/8 7.391 mph 94.86 1/4 11.541 mph 116.93 2nd pass at 3:30 pm 60 ft 1.650 1/8 7.390 mph 94.71 1/4 11.542 mph 118.45 So new tires, killer air and well prepped track does wonders. And LT5's love good cold air. |

The auto helps pull a great 60ft, and you're in the MID ElEVENS ! Now you've got to start pulling weight out of there, and go hunting for Pete. Thumbs up! |
