Re: High idle - no vacuum leak
Chances are with your 368 the DAG was long gone before you cleaned the throttle body. As it was probably enlarged to 63mm.
The other guys are correct, you are not going to find a LT5 throttle body unless its at Jerry's or on eBay, etc. The good news is Marc will rebuild your throttle body, if indeed that is the source of the vacuum leak, and have it back to you within a couple days. I had Marc rebuild mine. I pulled it off and sent it to Marc. He had it the next day and rebuilt it, then put in back in the mail and I had it the next day. I was down for about 3 or 4 days total. Good luck.

I've done it before, but i'm a little confused regarding draining coolant.. The other times I've pulled it I didn't do that. How/how much should I drain? anyone have a link for the correct procedure? Thank you guys so much for helping me! |

Have two new Plenum Gaskets on hand. The Injector Housing Coolant Manifolds should get warm within a minute or two. I would say Block TB Coolant at Injector Housing but I have found very few see the real advantages of that on this forum except for myself Same goes for Battery Disconnect and making your own oil Cooler Lines
