I learned to drive in UK back in 73. But after 43 years of shifting with the right hand (I drove manual cars for all but 8 years) I'm not sure I can handle shifting with left hand.

When I was based in Greece 79-82 I had a 1972 MG Midget with right hand drive. A blast to drive and not much of an issue to hang out in traffic to go around a big truck due to the small size.

Nothing has changed. I am in Athens now and had a wonderful taxi ride through rush hour traffic. Was just thinking about a Vette here. Would kill to underside. George

Here in OZ there are a number of ZR1s and all are converted from left to right hand drive because our importation rules state that any car later than Jan. 1989 has to go through a compliance procedure which includes the swap. However There is but 1 90 Zr1 that got into the country, approved but not converted. That is mine #1948. Driving a left hand drive car in the left lane make it difficult to pass someone when your on your own.

Hi there,
I actually own a RHD black 1990 ZR1 here in Brisbane, Australia. I have actually been curious about how many c4 ZR1's are in Australia. Does anybody have an idea about how many were actually brought over? Cheers P.s mine is #670 ![]() |

There are 9 other ZR-1s listed as being in Australia according to the registry of ZR-1s, found on the main http://www.zr1netregistry.com/ website, under the "Member's Only" section.
Regards, Mark

When you have time, can you take a pic under the hood and post? With the motor being offset to the passenger side, it must be a real tight fit to have steering column and brake booster/master on the right side.
