Why is the Dodge/SRT Viper so hated among the Corvette Community?

I understand. But would you mind giving some specifics why you have "no interest in it"? Question: What is the big difference between the SRT Viper and C4 ZR1? Both are manual and both are somewhat similar in HP, stance, comfort, etc. Actually, I think the 2013 and up SRT Viper is vastly superior to the 1990-94 ZR1. What you say?

I've always been a Corvette guy, never thought I would own either.
Never driven a Viper, never even sat in one, never had the opertunity.
I would given the chance.
Can't own 'em all.
I would certainly expect a 2013 to be vastly superior to a 1990.
