Which was quicker, the Supercharged 210hp/315lb/ft V6 or the 205hp/265lb/ft 4.6L V8?

Most comfortable budget daily drivers I've owned when I was younger, had a '91 and a '97. Stay away from regular V6 3800, I had problems with it. The SC V6 is a totally different design, block is webbed, stronger. I loved power everything, leather, roomy interior, independent suspension.
...wished I held on to the '97 had I known they weren't making T-birds anymore. I want to be driving cars that you don't really see lots of, something different, timeless styling, nice condition, gets looks but doesn't break the bank and no one's going to steal it, or get pulled over.
...really liked the smoothed body, trim panels, sleek nose, rear light illumination
