Default Help Needed...

I have a 1990 that's showing code 61 and idling around 1100 . Obviously I suspect a vacuum leak. Ive seen it before but cant find it but there was a procedure to check the system using a hand held vacuum pump posted..Can anyone help me. Also under the plenum in the front I can see what looks like a silver thing with what looks like a small tube coming off it facing towards the front of the car on the drivers side, it is not a secondary actuator because its to far forward. The tube is flared at the end but there is no hose connected to it. The injectors were replaced in early June at a Chevy Dealership and I really believe they did not get something hooked back up. The previous owner trailered it there and did not drive it before trading it in. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated...

Almost Certainly the cannister purge vacuum hose has become disconnected. You shouldn't have any open tubes connected to the plenum.

Definitely a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum lines and connections before removing the upper intake manifold for further vacuum troubleshooting! Use a vacuum pump to validate the problem.
