DANGER ZONE CAR SHOW (Formally Torque Fest)
Is a TOP GUN themed car show full of surprises! Last year we had 364 cars, 300 aircraft, and over 4,000 attendees!
We have completely reformatted every aspect of this show to maximize its efficiency and awesomeness!
Changes include:
*Early entry to the show area for preregistered vehicles.
*15 VIP spots will be available to park inside the main hangar.
*Sheriff’s Department will be directing traffic to avoid confusion.
*A food truck and several beverage stands will be on site in addition to the Flight line grille.
*Live music and special guest MC’s will be in attendance.
*Top Gun character look-a-likes will be on site.
*Top Gun attire is encouraged and rewarded!
*Several local microbreweries will be set up for sampling.
*All preregistered vehicles will receive a custom dash plaque.
Perhaps the biggest and BEST change to the show this year is how the trophies will be awarded. After attending several really great car shows this year it is painfully obvious that the “Judging” aspect of the show always seems to be a real issue. So there will be no formal judging or trophy categories. Instead, I would like to invite a group of local Hero’s from the VA hospital to pick out their top 50 favorite vehicles to receive a very unique trophy that they will personally present to the winners.
