Throttlebody work
I am considering sending my stickig TB to Marc to have the polishing service done to fix my sticky throttle plates. Is he the only person to offer this service?

Re: Throttlebody work
Send it to Marc. I took my car up there and stayed all day while they worked on it. Marc and his son are very meticulous and know their stuff. If he was closer I would have less $ in my bank account for sure..LOL

Next question: Must I drain coolant to take off the throttlebody?

Re: Throttlebody work
WHEN I had coolant in my TB, I found by draining just a few quarts or so was enough, especially if the front wheels were up on ramps. (YEARS ago I installed plugs into the injector housings that routed coolant to the TB. I've had NO issues as result. But, then my Z doesn't see much (if any) winter driving; due to the salt and traction sand laid down.)
