I agree--I use a Go Pro mounted with an adhesive mount in the center of an old style harness bar (for old folks who remember him--made by Terry Farber). In fact that is all I use my bar for other than to carry a fire extinguisher. It only attaches to the seat belt mounting bolts so probably not really good enough for belts. I do have a harness bar in the back and planned on buying a new video recorder before the event, but.... I was sure that the weather would cancel the event!! Then the storm moved.

Should have ordered it anyway!!!

The new GoPros are probably okay, but I think there are better/smaller/cheaper cameras available. I've used plenty and my last two purchases have been the Mobius 1080p. I've liked Replay cameras, too.

I had a lot of problems with the first few generations of GoPros. Maybe they have worked out the bugs with their current generations, but I was really unhappy with them after too many disappointments.
