Re: New ZR-1 Owner
Adding my welcome, Joseph. Hope you can make it to the Gathering at Bowling Green in May - or next year if it's too soon for 2015. The 25th Anniversary will make this year extra special.

Welcome to the family! You're gonna get obsessed with this car if you aren't already.

Re: New ZR-1 Owner
Obsessed to say the least! I told my wife this one just "feels" better than my '07 Z06 did, and we bought that one new. I finally got to take it out for a good run to check it out. It's got issues in 5th and 6th at higher speeds. It shifts fine but makes a lot of noise- not good. Also there is a squeal of sort at idel that goes away wheat the clutch is depressed or the car get warmed up. I'm needing to diagnose it. Anyone have suggestions?

Quote:
It sounds like the noises are related to Trans and Clutch/throw-out bearing only and at some point you might have ZF Doc ZF Doc AKA Bill Boudreau fix those issues permanently
