Should be in the 40+kPa range. With cams mine idles between 50-55 kPa.

I owned an 84 for 24 years. Balancing the TBs was important in getting a smooth idle and throttle response.

I have been lucky, having the 82 3 years next month and 60,000 miles later, have not touched the TB's and still running great!!!
