Tell us about the car? Why sell at an auction when you could potentially make more money advertising here?

The car is a 1993 torch red on black, the car has the Street Skinner package by Auto Masters. The car has 89,400 miles the SS package was done around the 50k mile mark. Car is very nice could use a weather strip kit other than that needs nothing. Everything works and runs great. Have posted it before and all I get is tire kickers. So thought at auction there would be at least serious buyers.

You need to take about 10 or 20 high resolution photos of that car inside, outside, engine compartment, etc. What few pics I've seen are kinda poor quality. Showing off how clean it is will help alleviate concerns on the high mileage. If it were my car,I would also advertise it here.

We really are trying to help you find that ZR-1 a new home. Help us do so.

You will most likely lose your *** trying to sell it at an auction, seriously.

Im telling you the honest truth when I say this. The market is rough for higher mileage corvette's right now, and that is especially so for ZR-1's in general.

I go to big auctions across the country and keep up with pricing very close!

If you take the car to an auction house such as RS, BJ, Mecum; it will cost you 10-18% of the sale price.

Given the mileage and a plus for the year, as that's the changeover to 405hp the car should sale for 16-17k.

Wanna gamble?? Put it on ebay as a no reserve auction for 10 days! Start the bid low.

Hell a wrecked salvage title ZR just brought 10k and it was a 92!

I started at 20k just because its nice and a Street Skinner, and everything works. 1st guy that walks up with 17k it's theirs. Just tired of all the people that are full of business wanting to drive it.

The Market is rough for the low mileage vehicles.
As for the 92 that sold on Ebay. I am thinking one of the participants was shill bidding. KP was the other person bidding and Cleveland parts called him and let him know that if the high bidder did not pay for the car he could still buy it. So with that being said the car might sell for around 10K.

Agree for ZR-1's LM examples but they have came up over the past 3 years.

Will say this again, these cars will come up in value in less than ten years, especially LM example original cars.

It's what Corvette's do.

I currently own my first ZR-1, but mid-year cars have been my passion since I was 16 now 36. Thanks to my old man for instilling my interest.

There are three 63-67 cars in the collection now, and one dropped to an average price of 40k in 2008. Now that same car would easily bring 125K

It's human nature to want now....It's like the stock market hold on it'll come back.

As far as the salvaged car goes....it's a parts thing period no other value is there for a real corvette enthusiast.

Like I told the OP gamble, I believe he would be surprised and grab his 17k willing sale price.
