Default Fair asking price ?

Retiring soon need to make room, tried to sell a 93 ZR-1 Street Skinner for a year at a fair price. Just received tire kickers and low ballers. Any thoughts on a fair price? Car is super clean with 89,000, Torch Red on Black, 94 wheels.

You were asking $20K for that car, right? After seeing the photos of it on the other site,I don't think that price is outta line. Looks like a decent car.

Here are some pics of the car:

tcz, do you have any additional pictures of the car? Particularly of the interior and the front of the car.

Thanks for the response, I thought the price was really good compared to what I have seen the Street Skinners go for. Everything I read shows the value of all C4 ZR-1's trending bak up. Maybe just have to keep it and look for larger retirement house.

unfortunately the mileage is what is hurting your car. I know they are very rugged motors but there are so many cars available with less miles and more mods. just saw a 1990 415 heavily modded car sell for 22k. that is a car with over 500hp to the wheels with shelby rims etc.. loaded out. Your car is worth more than 20k but it wont bring it right now. If you want to sell I'd price it at 18k. I bought mine with lots of bolt ons and porting, brakes, suspension new paint...etc...etc... for 17k with 45k miles. snake skinner was a package one of the aftermarket guys was selling. it was not a factory effort like carbon fiber panels etc.. It was a ported intake and injector housing car with headers dyno tuning maybe new injectors etc.. around 475 hp. The factory did make a snake skinner but it had a stroked lt5 and was extremely light weight. It was not titled for the street. I saw it sell in barret Jackson a few years ago. It was white.

That true lots of low mileage cars out there, but you see all the real low mile cars selling between 30k and 40k. Guess I will try 18k for a bit and see what happens.

Your car is worth your asking price of 20k. If you really want to get rid of it faster try 18k and that is all I meant by my post. I think the zr1's will eventually climb in value but they are staying in the high teens and low 20's if the have 35-55k miles. Your car has a nice performance package so even with 89k miles it should not get to mid teens or anything.

the guy with the 415 car had it advertised at 29k for a while. In a moment of lunacy he lowered it to 22k. It sold immediately. 415 stroker is a very expensive stroker package and his mods were many. He even reskinned it with new body panels to look like a 1995. I saw it on another website. Good luck with your sale.

I have to agree with your assessment. 22k for that car is a giveaway.
