My "new" 1995 ZR-1 with 1853 miles
It's hard to believe, but I recently found the ZR-1 of my dreams. It's a 1995 car (#261) having only 1853 miles on the clock when I took delivery last month. It spent its life up to then in the hands of two collector types--the first of whom drove it only on a very limited basis. It appears that each of the previous owners had hopes of making "big bucks" down the road. As we know, the ZR-1 has not yet started to appreciate in value, so I guess the first owner decided to fold a while back, and much more recently so did the second. For me that was great. I bought a brand new car (underside has never been wet) that was 19 years old! Since I'm not a collector, I intend to use the car and enjoy it just the way I would if I were to buy a new 2014 Stingray. For me this was a real win/win situation, as I love the C4 body style and the ZR-1 in particular. It is my third ZR-1, the first being the one I bought new in 1990. Here are some photos of my car.

Re: My "new" 1995 ZR-1 with 1853 miles
Hi folks, and thanks to all of you for your kind words about my recent purchase. This is the most wonderful car club to which I've ever belonged. The people I've met in this club since joining in 2011 are all so friendly, helpful and nice. Even if I didn't love the ZR-1, I'd probably buy one just to maintain my sense of belonging to such a great bunch of folks. My godson Clint and I (Clint now owns my last '90 ZR-1) are looking forward to getting together with so many of you again at Carlisle in August. We'll be driving the '95 to "show it off" a bit. Thanks again for your comments.
