It splits horizontally. Trust me on that! (I'm the one who needs the airbag.)
Thanks for the help everyone, and the additional recommendations on what I might need. I am working with a forum member on the airbag and cover, as well as the airbag sensors. I have a question, what is the DERM? I'm not sure I'm clear on the 'clock-spring' either. I do have a full set of manuals, but I would appreciate any insight. To those who have offered parts, I may still seek you out. I just felt the need to keep working with the individual who contacted me first. Thank you all. Have a great Memorial Day weekend. The clock spring is what's in the steering wheel, it runs up the column then is under the wheel. Basically it's The wire for the airbag but it's designed in such a way that it can spin with the wheel like a spring.
