Exactly to what do we refer here? The main manifold/header 'hanging' stud; center of block perhaps?

Mine came out once, with the nut on the tip.

I got it set, when I got the D side headers locked in, but do I need to check for some sealing???

Since I'm about to finish with the headers, and run the rest of the hardware AFTER the headers, a little info would be a good thing before I get that far...

There tends to be a leak around the bolts in the manifolds on the factory system, possibly on aftermarket headers too. Not always but from time to time this will happen.

Hey Schrade,
Sounds like you got her about licked.

The stud I circled tends to leak. Just tighten two nuts on it against each other so you can remove it. I used some brake clean to clean up the threads and some locktite to seal it. On my car only the right side leaked but I pullled both and seal them while it was apart
