Great work there Tony!
Did you consider a single actuator mechanism, as opposed to dual levers? What's the pull length? Would it have been a longer pull, with a single lever? I'm wanting to go with a single pull lever, as opposed to electrical, or vacuum...

Pull length on the one side is 4' and driver side is 5'. Cables come in 6' length. There are many ways to do it, it just becomes a "how much" you want to spend and how simple to complex you like.

Great job, Tony. I always enjoy seeing your specially modded "Z" at the gathering. The nights in the Holiday Inn parking lot are the best part of the event for me. Like a huge cruise night with food!!!!!
Hope to see you there again this year!! Brett

Top-notch, Tony! Relatively inexpensive and simple, loud when you want it to be and quiet when you don't, looks stock, keeps the spare tire. Brilliant!
Great wheels, by the way. My '90 Cuisinarts head to the powder-coater in the morning for a similar treatment. ![]() Chris |
