Water spots on my black 95 were cleaned right off with the 50/50 mix of white vinegar and (distilled) water. I use a (nano) polymer polish instead of wax, which I'm convinced was part of the reason the spots were so easy to remove. The car did get a redoux coating afterward, in case the vinegar removed the polymer polish.
