Default New LT5

Was just reading the Feb issue of Vette and there was a small article about the new performance tuned corvette for next year. Lo and Behold they stated that the new supercharged LT1 may be dubbed LT5! What do ya know!!

The article stated that a performance tuned vette would be out next year. However, they did not know what they would call it. It mentioned Z06; Z07 and ZR1 as possibles.

The supercharged newgen LTx engine pics floating around seem to pay homage to the LT4 with the red and aluminum striped upper manifold styling.

The new performance tuned corvette is the Z06 being announced this month for 2015 a LT4 pushing 625hp. Based on what I've heard it's very unlikely you will see a ZR1 again at least in the short term.
