SLP Cold Air Intake
anybody try the slp cold air intake?? I have a stock unit with k&n filter and modded lid. I am thinking of buying the lid that is practically wide open (more open space for air to get in) or buying a slp cai. this is the unit that has the 3 coned air filters. there is not much info on this cai so if anybody has any can they share there opinions. thanks. edramos #3028

Re: SLP Cold Air Intake
I have it…no noticeable difference in sound or performance. I never have had a dyne tune since I installed it along with my headers and exhaust.

Re: SLP Cold Air Intake
For what its worth, my Turq Z had an SLP Claw when I purchased it. Removed it and installed an open filter unit.
Day and night difference! Sold the Claw.

Re: SLP Cold Air Intake
thanks for your input. This is what I wanted to hear real life experiences. Sounds like I will go with the open filter unit. Thanks.
