Get extra batteries. The GoPro 3 has the worse battery out of all three. I cant wait until the new GoPro is released, I am hoping for more than a 15 minute battery.

Yep it's the GoPro Hero3. I thought I could just take the Micro SD card out of my old Droid X phone and use it. But it gave me a card error. So I went to Walmart and bought a new 32GB one and it worked fine. The instructions say the card must have at least a class 10 speed rating. The one I bought has a class 30. The video quality is very impressive even though downloading it to youtube still degrades the video quality a bit. Anytime you transfer anything to photobucket or youtube it's never as clear as the source file. But still plenty good.

i've got the 2 and I really like it...except when it smashed into Laguna Seca at 80mph. Even after that gopro sent me a new case/suction cup mount for free.

Id love to use it doing the BBORR. I just have to decide to make that a priority one day.
Kevin does the Droid phone app work as a remote control. I saw it in the instruction manual. I'll have to read up on it. If it can remotely control the camera then that is awesome. There is also a Droid app for the new car I bought my wife that can remotely control the car and lock the doors and start it among other things. I still need to do that. Technology sure can spoil a guy.
