Hose routing question on a 93
My car was built in January 1993 , I have a hose routing piece of plastic attatched to the fan shroud that looks like the LT1 set up. Should my hoses be running through that area? The closest hose does not seem to be able to fit on that angle. The car has had no accidents according to PO and carfax so I'm puzzled. I'm attaching a pic of my spot in question and also a pic from HilKing's 93 which looks to have the same piece of plastic ,but being used by a hose. Any light on this subject I would appreciate.

Re: Hose routing question on a 93
No, it should not be running through there. That is for LT1/4 cars only. It shouldn't be in your engine bay in the first place.

Re: Hose routing question on a 93
Are the correct fan shrouds still available or is the plastic routing a removable part?
