Removing the ignition coils and starter
I have the intake plenum off the car and would like to do some cleaning of the general area. I was told to remove the coils and starter first. Is there anything special I should know to do this? Can the coils be removed as an assembly or do they need to be removed one at a time? is the the starter shimmed? Thanks..

Re: Removing the ignition coils and starter
Disconnect battery.
Coils come off as one unit two 8mm screws in front two 10mm screws in back you will also need to take off the spark plug wire loom from each side held down with injector housing screw you can't miss them and take coils with spark plug wires right off. Pete
