has anyone used a console pad cover ?
Not advertising for Eklers but has anyone used this ?
http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...1990-1996.html I understand the lid will have to be removed , but it wont in anyway damage the original will it? I'm wanting to get one to protect the original. |

Yep love it had it for 6 years now. Very comfortable. It fits under the plastic underside of the cover. It folds under with adhesive tape. Only draw back is you cant open your console door to the full measure you will only be able to open it about 60% of normal. However thats plenty.
Held up very well to daily driving as well

A friend with an 84 has always used a dash cover. Dash still looks as new as the day we went down to pick it up !

I have one in the ZR-1 as well as in the L98 Coupe, matching the interior color
of each of the cars. They are looking great and they are good for comfort, resting the right arm on them. As Goldcyclon reported you can't fully open the door of the console. Franz
