Who sells a quality door strip belt molding strip? (upper door by window ) ---

The belt molding weather strip at the top of my door near the window is all cracked and hard as a rock. Every time I put my arm out the window I expect it to bust off LOL.

Who sells a quality replacement?

What do they usually cost for a drivers and passengers inner/outer? I definitely need the outer, not sure on the inner yet.

From time to time they pop up on ebay. Not sure of the quality as the set I bought have not arrived yet.

Think it was less than $50 for inner and about double that for both. Not sure as that information is on my home confuser. Will look it up this evening and post if others don't chime in with better and more accurate information. My outer was hard enough that it actually broke and gave me a nice cut on the inside of my inner upper arm (bicep?).

I bought a pair of aftermarket outside door edge trims, I think, from Corvette Central. Driver side fit fine but the passenger side had contour different from the door and could not be made to fit. Ended up ordering OEM for the passenger side.

I have a Corvette Central book, I will see what I hear about the Ebay quality from CAPT. before I decide where to make a purchase. ---

For the life of me I cannot find any manufactures details on the boxes and plastic bags these arrived from the ebay seller. However the quality looks every bit as good as the ones I had purchased from two of the catalogue sellers. One inner was a bit bent but did straighten out when I installed it.

Checking my records I have purchased three separate sets of these from two different sellers on ebay and was happy with all of them. However there was a price difference of about $25 per set and that was still a better price than what I could find elsewhere. I would purchase another two or three sets as the sun over here is brutal on felt, rubber, trim and plastic.

You're talking about the dew wipe, right? It's felt on the inside against the window?

I bought mine from CC (Corvette Central) about 12 years ago both sides still look very good,i'm happy with them.
