i'm not even sure the battery in it is good anymore, penndot told me as long as the plate is registered it's cool. I ended up having my passenger hold it out the window

On dash display brightness, I fairly regularly run with the parking lights on. On the outside, they look sort of like DRLs on newer Vettes. It helps the dash display somewhat in bright sunlight. On the EZ Pass, I have a Valentine One that I mount in the windshield "garage door opener" opening. I put my Illinois IPass in front and underneath it and I push the Valentine forward to hold it down tightly. Both work fine. The Illinois IPass I have is flat, about 3"x4"x1/2" and might be an older model, as my wife's newer one is bulkier. --Bob

Warp, I had not thought of just turning the parking lights on. All my newer vehicles have the automatic lights so it did not occur. I do have polarized clip ons coming to try and will try the parking lights as well. it should help.

Good idea. When I go to B.G. in May I will take my EZ pass as well off my SUV and put it in the windshield of the Z. I'll also once I cross the border between Virginia where I live and they are illegal to run put my Cobra radar detector in the windshield.

One issue at 6'4" tall I have is that both the rear view mirror and the visors even when up slightly interfere with my vision because my eyes are further up the windshield when looking forward. One of the few negatives of having a bit of heighth. In my 76 I literally moved the rear view mirror to a different design and windshield mounted it but just above the dash and now I look over it. Much better. May one day do that with this Z as well.
