Weepy Hose?
I am in the process of changing the oil cooler lines and noticed a small amount of coolant on the cross member near/under the engine coolant hose. I have not noticed any significant loss of coolant. Is it possible for these hoses to "weep" through? These appear to be all original hoses on a '90 with 29K miles. This looks to be a tough job since I cant even see the clamp on the engine side of that hose.

Yep, spring type clamps. With the oil leak from those lines, it's a bit of a mess. I'll try to do a little clean up first then check the pump bolts.

Its a while you are there suggestion. Its not so much the mileage but the age of the hoses. Serp belt is also a good idea. A lot of us have moved on to the Samco silicone hoses but thats the owners choice.
