Default Help on flexplate for auto conversion...

I just spoke with the Mayhem M/S doing my stick-to-auto conversion, and the flexplate that they ordered ain't gonna' happen - he didn't say what the fitment failure was.

Does anyone know any of the flexplate part numbers that have been used? Or even who the manufacturers are, of a compatible part?

I'd say you need to contact Rod DeWild, DeWild Motorsports, Henderson CO

He should be able to help you with any of your questions.

OR

"PETE" here on the registry!

Fitment failure is the 8-hole crankshaft vs. the 6-hole flexplate.

DeWild Performance comes up nowhere on the web. 3 numbers for DeWild Trucking return 'Disconnected, or no longer in service'...

Help? Anyone done this before???

Does anyone know John Becker's username on the boards?

It does not come up as that in the 'J's, or under any Becker's, in the member's list...

Hi,
John Becker here (aka AAFC) on here. Flex plate and 4l80E tail housing by
Pete. When i started this back in Aug. 2004 in used a 4l60E and a complete
stock drive train( c-beam and drive shaft). Pete made an 8 hole flex plate
for me which i still use today with the 4l80E trans. Since then i have broken
3 transmissions (2 4l60E and one 700R4). That's when i put in a 4l80E in
2011 to handle the hp and tq. (just tested the the car on friday Dec.14,2012
it makes 418 rwhp and 353 rwtq with the 4l80E trans).
This set up ran 11.73 @ 118.50 and 11.59 @ 119.58 before i had it retuned
on Dec. 14 ,2012. The 4l80E trans has custom gears 2.75 1st , 1.57 2nd ,
1.1 3rd and .75 4th with 3.73 rear gears. you can use stock auto interior
parts for your set up. ( about half price of what new parts would cost).
hope this help's
John Becker (AAFC)
one of a few 4l80E eq Zr-1's
