I have installed a new master cylinder and it will not build any pressure. I noticed on the main page on the how to page that one installation with pictures that the one inch thick spacer was used with the new master cylinder even though the new one had the thicker mounting plate. Should the spacer be reused and is this possibly the reason my new one is not building pressure due to a shorter stroke? Or is the new one just bad? It is an AC/Delco part.
