Hello Charlie,
If you have to extend the length of the tubes, I might have some (Bullets) it's a plastic piece to connect two tubes together. Not sure what sizes I have. Let me know the size of the tubes.
Have a good day,
Nelson

Thanks Nelson,
If you come over on Saturday, bring what you have just in case. I think the game plan is to remove the tubes from the broken pump and install on the new pump.

Hello Charlie,
I have some (bullets) . They are connectors to extend small tubes. I don’t know what sizes I have but I can check later when I get home. Let me know the size tube that is used on the pump. By the way where did you purchase the lumbar pump, the ones in my car don’t work?
Have a good day,

Nelson

Success,
WAZOO installed the new lumbar pump and now for the first time, I have been able to enjoy and adjust the lumbar support in my sport seat. Thanks Jim!

Hello Charlie,
Were you able to change your lumbar pump last Saturday, I had to leave early? I am going to change both of mine when I get a chance.

It took about 30 minutes total. First you take the bottom seat out, push down and pop out the front clip, takes less than 30 seconds. The pump is on the front left side of the seat. Disconnect the two electric pins from the old and connect the new pump to test. You will feel air if it is working. The 3 lumbar air hoses were not the correct length on my new pump so we pried the 3 hoses off the new pump (careful not to break the plastic connectors) and pried the 3 hoses off the old pump. The old pump is attached to the seat by 3 bolts with a 7mm head (I think). Remove the 3 bolts and nuts (it is a pain in the neck as you need to reach under the seat). Disconnect the 2 electric power connectors and remove the old pump unit. Push the 3 original air hoses onto the new pump and install the pump to the seat using the 3 nuts and bolts. Connect the two power plugs and your all set, just put back the seat bottom.

Thanks Charlie,
I think I can do that install myself.. I had to call Jim earlier concerning a electric problem and ABS light coming on. I am going to post the problem on the forum and see if anyone can up on where to start to trouble shoot.
Have a great day,
Nelson
