Blowing INJ-1 Fuse
Trying to troubleshoot the 88. INJ-1 Fuse is 7.5 amps. Upon acceleration of RPM's the fuse will blow. SES light on.
Getting ready to count flashes. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Blowing INJ-1 Fuse
Tyler and I figured it out. Problem solved. The INJ-1 circuit had too much draw.

Re: Blowing INJ-1 Fuse
We had piggy-backed that circuit while getting a constant 12 volts to the fuel pump. Without getting too deep into it, I'm using the original harneses in the car. Every harness has damage that is being repaired. The good news is, the car starts, holds good oil pressure and the charging system is functioning well. All gages work as well.

Re: Blowing INJ-1 Fuse
It was something really simple.
During the work to get the car running, one of the original PhaseII injectors stuck open, dumping fuel into the oil. Had to change another $90 worth of oil and filter. We installed new stainless injectors from FIC. Long story short.........I checked the Turq car and the INJ fuse is a 10amp. The 88 fuse block called for a 7.5amp. I put a bigger fuse in and no more blown INJ fuses.
