Default Cam Card

Anyone know where I can get a cam card for the LT5? I'd like to get all the specs if possible. If someone has them can they e-mail them or fax them to me? It would be greatly appreciated!? Need to set the cams on the engine and need to be 100%. Thanks in advance! Mike

see www.zr1specialist.com marc haibeck.

he has alot of good info about degreeing the cams. a very tricky process which requires the right tools and actually is easier with the engine out of the car. marc I believe has the cam specs and a great procedure on how to do it posted. if not, give him a call. his is very sharp.

aaron scott @ sgc is very savvy with this process as are bill k, milstead and vette docs, many others.

the factory cam timing could vary a bit which made some differences between the good and the so so lt5s. especially on the earlier cars.

the factory had very special tooling which made it easier, but with the right tools and some patience, follow the procedure and you can get it done. not rocket science, but requires alot of checking!!!

good luck, keep us posted if you have any trouble finding info. the factory cams are quite good and probably the best overall for stock displacements!!
