compnine vin decoder
I know some of you are aware of this site. The last mention I found of compnine here on zr1.net was by LGAFF here http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10864
(If someone has already reported this, I apologize) compnine is a great site that allows you to get the RPO codes of the car if you input the vin. I used this site extensively a few years ago while searching for a Vette. It’s great to determine if that Vette was a Z51 car or if it was originally white rather than the red in the picture :-) A year or two ago (IIRC), the compnine site went away and I was bummed. I just discovered it’s back up. http://www.compnine.com/vid.php I entered my “new to me” ZR1 vin and it listed all the RPO codes from the “demo” field. It looks like you might need to pay to use this often, but if you’re in the market for a car, it might be worth it. |

Re: compnine vin decoder
Back when the Compnine search tool was available the first time, I entered every ZR-1 VIN and saved the results to a data base. The information is available on the Members Only section of the ZR-1 Net Registry website.
