Default clutch issues

Howdy folks, new to the site. Bought a 1990 ZR-1 this summer. Black on black with 35,000 miles. My clutch seems to be drifting out with the clutch pedal in. I'm guessing a bad slave or master cylinder. My problems are, 1) I can't find the slave for a 1990, looks like I need to use a 1991. 2) Do I use the stamped or cast slave? 3) I read somewhere, and can't find it again that there were assembly issues with some of them. Any insite would be great. Thanks - Steve

Howdy and welcome to the Brotherhood!
Here's a link to Dynomites Solution page, the info on master/slave is about halfway down:

First person I'd call is Bill Boudreau, "The ZF Doc", he's the best there is on everything about the ZF and what she needs: (602) 319-6575
His website seems to be down right now, but I'm sure it'll be back up in no time.

Many thanks. I'll check these sources. I also see there are some other posts recently of the same nature. Should have read before I posted. Guess I was anxious to say Hi.
