Default CARLISLE RT 81 Scranton to Harrisburg

Scott and anyone else coming from the Northeast:
There's some paving work between Exits 131 and 137 Southbound RT 81 South of Scranton. One lane travel, but no big deal!!! And there's some reports of bridge work in Harrisburg (don't know what road or any details on this).
Scott: Give me a call Thursday evening (I left my cell # on your work VM) and I'll be able to fill you in on Rt 84 from CT to Scranton. Wayne (see ya @ 0800 exit 26 RT 84) and I with Brian riding "shotgun" will be traveling Thursday AM....
Reported by John who traveled to Carlisle from upstate NY Wednesday afternoon Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
Doug

the entire state is under construction. if you're questioning if the road you're driving on will have the construction on it, the answer will be yes

Bob -

I bailed out. Wanted to go down today and come back tomorrow morning, but that is a long haul for me for just a few hours of fun. Will definitely miss it. I am bummed.

Scott,

Sorry you didn't make it. Doug bailed around 10:30 Saturday morning. I bailed around 11:15. Got home in time to put some things away before dark. Construction on I-81 northbound was terrible. I wonder if I-81 in PA will ever be completed.

We lost power Sunday AM at 8:00 AM, got it back late this afternoon. 8" of rain makes a mess!

Hope to see you in Mystic in October.

John

John -

Talked with a few guys who said it was great....I am bummed to have missed it. I really look forward to Carlisle all year....

I am on my work PC. Power is out at home with no near-term hope of it being turned back on ....Many businesses, stoplights, etc are still without power. Lots of trees down with power lines lying all over the place....what a mess.

I hope crews arrive here from other parts of the country or we are in for a rough few weeks....
