I looked at the photos and if that is an 11.5k car then you could weigh mine.
![]() Unless the motor is toast, some one got a great deal. Okay, maybe some cash has to be put into her for maintenance items at that mileage....but a metallic turquoise is still a looker & how bad a condition could she be mechanically? I'd take a chance at that price if I wanted to buy a Z. ![]() Tom

That's an anomaly for sure...or it needed work too. The reds and blacks are safe bets, but I would take any color for a several thousand dollar discount. I don't think you can compare this and say all 50k+ mile LT5 cars will be $12k, but it does sort of show that $15k-ish is a valid range now on a decent car.

I agree. Auctions are just that....auctions. There just has to be two people there that want the car. Doesn't mean that any 91 is only worth what this car brought. The same happens to 53's all the time, which is my main market. There can be five cars sell with different conditions and people only see the last selling price and think that price dictates the true market.

By the way, BJ Orange County so far have produced some extremely low sales, in my oppinion! I was surprised that the ZR-1 went for as high as it did based on it's milage and history! JMHO.

I think that color had to do something with the price.. only a handful will like it, but you need two to like it for a bidding war
