Question Any tips on disconnection of the Air Injection System?

Started installing OBX headers. The quality looks good so far. I am not a mechanic and need some advice, please!

disconnection of the AIS (Air Injection System)What all do I remove and do I need to anything with the wiring?

Any other tips or tricks welcome!

Nothing earthshaking about the disconnection. It all comes apart pretty easily. The vacuum lines on the passenger side are still needed. I just moved the fittings and capped one on the tee.

I do HIGHLY recommend taking good pics in case you ever need to replace everything though.

Good luck with the install, keep us posted with some pics as these headers could be huge for this community. If you document the install with good pics an article for the HOTB could
be sent in to Phil.

I just removed all of the plumbing and the pump. I folded the wire back and put a small poly bag over the plug with a zip tie.

do the obx headers have cats on them ,the little bump on the exhaust piping is making me wonder if they do have cats ???????

They are fake cats! look like small glass packs! Doubt the inspector would know the difference...
