DFW ZR-1's
We kinda, in a very loose sense of the word, started up a DFW ZR-1 association. We have a guy that can get us some dyno pulls down in Arlington. Obviously, we're talking about weekends. If you are interested, let us know. This is just some guys getting together with their Z's and having some fun. Last weekend, we met while I was working on one Z, the other ZR-1 owner brought his over. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the car and it's owners.

Re: DFW ZR-1's
Great news!
How many Z owners do you have lined up? Started a list of emails? Let me know if I can help... We can compile a list of Z owners in the area (within 100 miles) Great news! David |

Re: DFW ZR-1's
Got four so far and I know of at least three more. There is one guy that lives by TMS that has 2 ZR-1's but I don't have his e-mail. Mom sent me his e-mail but the return address had been sanitized for my protection. When I start hitting up the clubs for the 2014 Caravan, I will also be looking out for the other guys that I know that are out there. Last Saturday was the most fun that I have had since The Gathering. I think I will start building up some info from the last one and start showing it around since these guys haven't been there yet. Talking about a caravan to the 2011 Gathering. Should be fun! Send me your list and I can add a couple of more since they just got there ZR-1's within the last two weeks.

Cool, guess my idea wasn't as far fetched as I thought.

Re: DFW ZR-1's
It sounds like a good time was had by all. I think that you will find a lot more ZR-1 owners than you know about. We sure did here in WAZOO land.

Re: DFW ZR-1's
We plan to find out. Trying to get Carlos's car up and running and get a handle on who would be interested in having a good time. One of the ideas was having a dyno day. I was thinking about doing a full blown plenum pull and left cam cover removal so I can get the other side of the motor looking good on my car. Another guy had access to a track so that could be interesting. Just gotta think Vette and ZR-1's and we are on our way.
Oh, sorry about that! Wrong Z's! |
