Default Removing The Coolant Pipes

How do you remove the coolant pipes with out stripping the torx heads on the bolts? They bolts seem to be stuck.

I want to send them to Carter to get them engraved.

3 out 5 to go... Put some WD-40 on the bolts. 2 of the bolts then look very rusty...

If the bolts are really stuck most commonly this is caused by coolant seeping over time past the gasket and corroding the bolts in the injector housing threaded holes. You do not want to twist these off as they will most likely break off flush at the surface of the injector housing then you will have a much tougher time getting them out. Under these circumstances you will have better chances if you first soak the threads with a penetrating fluid like PB Blaster. In order to get to the threads I would recommend using a 1/4" bit to drill bolt heads off. Remove the coolant pipes and soak the bolts hole area of the injector housing for at least 24 hours with penetrating fluid. Then with a good pair of vice grip pliers grip the protruding section of the bolts and carefully work them out. You can go here for replacement bolts: http://jerrysgaskets.com/store2/root...roducts_id=545

So...
Drilled out the first bolt head. The coolant tube will not come off still (Rear top driver).
While trying to wiggle it out. I broke the 90 degree metal connector the goes from the TB to the plenum (Drive side)....

So how do I fix that...

I should have fix my 90 degree coolant hose and left it alone

All well I'll play with it tomorrow...
