well, what ever is going on in that photo....the motor has the throttle cables on the wrong side of the motor....unless that LT5 is in a right hand drive car?

Probably did that to avoid copy right issues

The hood strut support is on the wrong side too. Photo is flipped.

For a better view, this ad is shown on page 27 of the December 2010 issue of Popular Mechanics. It is a full page ad.

It definitely looks like they added the guy afterwards to the engine shot. Scale, lighting and focus differ.

The car photo is flipped with the hood hold open brace on the right hand side.

Good news is that they did choose a shot of the LT5 engine. That will be only be recognized by a select few!
