Default WTB:FEW 1990/91 ZR1 PARTS NEEDED L98 air filter

Hi
Just got back from a NCRS judging event. I am happy to say I got a Top Flight Award. The entire event was very well run and the judges were great. It was a lot more work than I thought and the judges very meticulous. I want t to try for the Mclellan Award next year, I am in need of a few parts.
1. TI55 70R17 Spare Tire, looks like somehow I sold my original and mine looks like it's from a 95 ZR1. Must have warning label 1407699, rim must be stamped K190 OR K191. This stamp is next to valve stem and near the lug holes.
2. Original L98 OR LT5 AIR FILTER A1097C ,SHOULD HAVE GRAY RUBBER,WITH TAN FILTER ELEMENT,1 ROW OF FOLDED ELEMENT SHOULD BE SERRATED,SHOULD READ AC(some other name can't remember) BUT NOT AC DELCO. prefer new but used is ok.
3. original 2 snuffer TAB WITH 1 CIg HOLDER ON EACH SIDE.I have this but he says mine looks like repo, whatever that means.
4. lt5 TPS sensor date should be CXXXX, 4TH DIGIT MUST 0 OR 1.
email me directly at toddcerami@comcast.net
thanks
Todd

Congratulations Todd! Top Flight Award is a great accomplishment. Good luck getting the last few parts you need.

Hi Kirk
I will call you this weekend. I think the deductions were around 150-200 points. I can't remember.(half asleep) and I didn't have a calculator. I should have the scoring sheets in a few weeks. My major deductions were the engine being powder coated, non gm battery(bosch) although I did have the original battery in the trunk. R/C injectors,zr1net registry decals on the back glass.A lot of really minor things. It was funny they found things I would have never thought of ie: non original color plenum gaskets but they missed the the lt5 emblems on the side of my hood which I am sure they would have deducted for.

Todd,

Congratulations. Was it a Chapter or Regional meet?? Reason I ask is the higher the level the more experienced the judges. Don't be supprised if different event judges find different items.

Glad to hear there are now at least 3 of us on the registry who have done the NCRS route.

Best of luck with your parts hunt.

John

I don't get the hit for the motor being powdercoated because the original parts were powdercoated.

if you are "restoring" the finish you should'nt be hit for that.

and who repos cigarette ash trays for C-4s thats a bit of a streach what an ***.
