Default I got lucky.

Well one of my daily drivers is a 99 Lincoln Continental DOHC 275hp 4.6 intec V8 duel exhuast heated leather seats fully loaded. It's one of the smoothest best driving cars I've ever had. Well while my wife was driving it one of the fan motors went out and it over heated and blew the head gaskets and the heads. She said all she heard was a loud "POP". It still ran but very rough and you could smell engine coolant very strong inside and outside the car. It got inside the engine. It was bad. But I decided to give that car a new lease on life. So I put it on the trailor and off it went to one of the best mechanics I know.

He called my wife today and said it's done and ready to pick up monday. He told her that car was the biggest pain in the azz they had ever worked on. And that the engine was one of the heaviest the've ever pulled out of a car. They had to remove the engine and trany all in one piece. They worked on it for three days straight. He told her if he had known that it was going to have been that much work they would'nt have done it and would have told us to just go get another car. So my next question to my wife was "HOW MUCH". I'm thinking 3 to 4k. She said nope. How about $1600. So I consider myself very lucky.
