Default Now its my turn.

To say P/P work is completed and off to the powder coaters. These pics were taken with my cell phone so the quality is so so.

I've seen this extra hole drillrd right here on some of the IH housings I've seen in the past. Not sure if its necessary. But if it helps speak up.

Hmmmm.... Just curious what your interim expectations are, as it would appear you must be contemplating a staged approach - doing the heads later, yes? I see you siamesed the intake plenum, but left the primary port of the IH more or less at the original size. Is yours a 90 or a later model? (As I see what appears to be a bit of the primary injector boss remaining - not necessary on the earlier LT5s.)

Lots of ways to skin a cat. I'm just curious what the "master plan" is.

It's a 90. At this time I'm not planning to do the heads. I've opened the primary ports up to 36mm half way down then started gradually tapering them down to 33mm so they match the stock primary head port. If I opened the primary up to 36mm all the way through with the stock 33mm head port it would cause a serious missmatch and would be like hitting a brick wall for air flow. I've removed as much of the injector bosses as I could without having to break into the fuel injector bore to much. The plenum and injector housings that I used to copy what I did to mine from were uglier than mine and still had a little left of the injector bosses. They weren't totally gone. And that cars base dyno was 335rwhp. After those P/P plenum and injector housings were put back on in combination with Jeal headers Mgana flows and dr gas and a good tune it dynoed at 409rwhp. If I get somewhere in the ball park of 385rwhp I'll be happy. If it ends up being more than great.

But if I decide to have the heads done I'm just going to go for a 368 build. And I'll let one of the builders do that.

Hehe! I tell you what Ryan if you can wait until this winter I'll knock em out for you. Then I can work on them in the garage intead of the master bathroom. It turns the bathroom into a mess. Leaves a layer of aluminum all over everything. God bless my wifes soul for putting up with it. My garage temp has been hovering right about 110 deg.

Bathroom??? You are kidding right??? Your wife must be an amazingly patient women.

Hard to see exactly where you're at regarding the primary bosses in the pics but you can pretty much take them down to the roof as the injectors seal high in the housing.

She is pretty cool. She puts up with my crap all the time. But it's a two way street. I've got to put up with Star Trek,Stargate Atlantis,Twilight,Buffy the vampire slayer. She's a Sci-fi geek. And I'm not so much. I'm more of blood and guts horror film fan.

If you ported those in the bathroom, I hate to see how many aluminum slivers you have in your AZZ!...or worse!

Looks nice!

A picture is worth 1000 words.
I knew we were getting ready to put ceramic tile in and repaint the bathroom anyway so I said F it. But I highly don't recommend doing it in your bathroom. The combination of the aluminum dust and wax used to keep the aluminum from building up on the grinder bit getting slung all over the walls isn't good.
