Looking for Speciaty Car Insurance for ZR1
I am looking to get specialty car insurance for my ZR1? The ZR1 will be a pleasure car and a yearly mileage cap is fine. I have Specialty Insurance on my 50 Plymouth with a replacement value of $15,000 and a mileage cap of 5,000 miles a year through Heacock Classic Insurance. The annual premium is $105/year. They will however not insure the ZR1 since it is not 25 years or older.
I know there are insurance companies that will insure limited production specialty cars like the ZR1. Please let me know if any of you have this kind of insurance, how much your annual premium is and the name of the company. Normally, I would not be so frugal with my ZR1, but I have been without a job for 15 months and still want to enjoy the car for shows and some street blasts Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! Re: Looking for Speciaty Car Insurance for ZR1
I use American Collectors, costs around $300 per year for $35k "Agreed Value", $0 deductible. Must be pleasure car, not daily driver, must be stored in locked garage, has a mileage limit, either 5k or 7.5k miles a year (don't remember which).
http://www.americancollectors.com/ I've never filed a claim, so I don't know how "good" they actually are, but hopefully I'll never have to test it. TomC "Crabs"
