Injector machining done.
Injector housing and thick plenum gaskets complete. The cnc work is done.
Those gasketes almost match my table. And when I'm done with the hand work I'm going to be looking for someone to powder coat this stuff and make it look sharp again. |

Re: Injector machining done.
To each his own but, was there a reason you did not siamese them? I was under the impression that was the best performance way to go.

Re: Injector machining done.
I did Siamese the plenum. I'm going to semi Siamese the injector housings only a 1/2 inch deep. But I'm going to leave a wall there to separate the primary from the secondary.

Re: Injector machining done.
Just bought two IHs.....
This one has a goldish tint to it and the following: Is this the 90 coolant tube provision?

Re: Injector machining done.
Here is the other; the same as my 92
missing the breather provision.....help! The other is 36MM, this one is the stock 31.11......and for those porters wondering how "round" the intake should be....the factory is pretty lopsided

Re: Injector machining done.
Castings are not very accurate anyway. So I machined mine as symmetrical as possible. It may not be necessary. But like most machinist I'm a perfectionist. It's just a habit.
