Default Callaway headers sans cats

Not mine, fyi. BIN seems a bit steep to me considering they have no cats, but I guess if you want to keep it Callaway...

yup yup

Paul has a set of Watsons on now and will put the new SW's on to see how much of a difference there is.

I was told that the SW's are tuned and should give more HP..... Paul will give us his impressions soon.

Geezus! Looks like Callaway just cut the pinched areas and welded a plate on there, no ? Guess if a guy has gotta have it...

I was browsing around on Ebay the other day and would you believe vintage Aston Martin parts are cheaper than ZR1 stuff?

Does anyone know if there is any advantage of the Callaway headers versus the other brands that have been made?

The others are not C.A.R.B. legal.

Even if I lived in Cali (and it will never happen) I would not put them on there. Maybe if I was a Callaway nut and wanted every accessory available for a SNAT, I might consider it, but even then...

Youd have waxer status at that point and have to be banished forever.

That's it, the only advantage. They have a CARB number on the Callaway ones. That and if you cared about having everything "Callaway" on your car. I guess the other advantage would be that with cats they still bolt to the stock exhaust with no modification. But for most people, there'd be no advantage to them vs long-tubes, and you'd quite likely give up power gains with them.
