WooHoo.. I have a Spare tire Bag>>
I was certain it was not with this car, especially considerign the condition it was in..
I had to rob the Spare lowering bolt for my 89 since I was putting the spare back in the 89 to sell and did not want to wait for a used one to show up. So this was the first time I removed the spare from the ZR-1 CHECK THESE Out!! Spare out of car.. some dirt fell off already Here is the rest of the dirt Here is the Tire bag and Jack bag..

Jeff - You have inspired me - I think I need to check my spare to see if its still there and to see if I might be as lucky as you. Nice find - =D>

Re: WooHoo.. I have a Spare tire Bag>>
That spare tire well is like a dirt magnet. I clean mine often (heck, I've had to use the spare twice in three years) and it is always pretty dang dirty. While that is an awful lot of dirt, if it hadn't been cleaned for a lot of miles, and the car was in a dusty area, I could see it happening. Mine is usually full of sand, as sand (and gravel) is more what's all over the road here in VA.

The pictures of Michae's clean bags prompted me to pull out my spare and bags this winter. They actually looked pretty good. They are spotless now! But man, no kidding - how does one get that much dirt in there?!?!

It sure doesnt take much to make -=Jeff=- day. All the work he's done and gets excited by finding the spare tire bag. Hey isnt that tire at the wrong end of the car, something about repacing a radiator today? I take it you sold the 89?
