Regretfully....There is a time frame in which I can sell these and accomplish my short term goal by selling (not that I want to ). If I cant, I may as well keep them. If youre really looking, nows the time to jump on it.
Looking for 18 for the car, 6k for the motor. Package deal for 23k . (818)-800-1178 (818)718-7656 Motor has approx 5500 miles, comes with clutch and flywheel, no accessories. Stored properly. Car has hi miles, in nice shape though. Coolant pipes and orig wires are layng underneath the plenum fwiw Here some info about ZR1 #2096. The Good: -4.09 gears, less than 10k on it -Haibeck tune -Meth injection -Dual 3" exh, Dynomax super turbos/bullet resonators -Relocated MAT/K&N -New clutch hydraulics, fresh trans fluid -Samco hoses and air duct -New radiator, water pump, SRP 160 stat -fuel system from pumps to injectors all replaced. (RC 205) -New pads, rotors, rear wheel bearings, speedbleeders -Freshly rebuilt Bilsteins with "Moracca" valving -Doug Rippie poly bushing set to match shocks -Had front clip repainted whenI bought it due to rock chps -Weatherstrip all arround is excellent,it has been replaced at some point -Windshield has pitting reflecting mileage-No delamination though -Just put manual fan switch in -Dash, door panels, carpet, etc are nice. No sunfade I can tell of -New battery (I let it sit a year to do a ton of upgrades) -Just passed CA smog -BMAD (scoop below bumper for cooling) -Very nice GM A-Molds with brand new Sumitomo rubber all around -Kenwood head unit/EQ/CD changerw/bazooka tube. Very clean install, changer is hiddenw/remote -WIthin last 10k miles new coils, wires, platinum plugs -No leaks or drips, funny mechanical noises, never smokes. Period. -Rides tight and solid. Some C4s are rickety rattle traps, this isnt one of them -Ungo alarm with keyless The Bad... -DS bolster on seat has typical tear. Bladders inop (easy fix) -Leather over time has "shrunk"...(A little harder than new supple leather but doesnt have the pronounced cracks or anything) you see in older seats. -Column has typical "springy" slop and eventually should be repaired. Havent had time for it just yet. Parts are availabel to fix I can provide # -AC works, needs to be charged. I tried it once when I first bought it, never really use it -Eventually the TPS connector should be replaced, clips are shot. -Never tried the cruise control or heater, never use them. .It is what is is, a 145k Z in good shape with a lot of the "nickel and dime" stuff done. Starts every time, never runs hot or does funny stuff. ![]() ![]() Last edited by cuisinartvette; 09-22-2007 at 12:18 PM. |

I would like to sell both, wether together or separately...I would not want to sell the motor first and stillhave the car.....This one is solid but "just in case" the car doesnt go its a good "insurance policy" to have a spare around.....

Going on Ebay in Feb. Will separate but would prefer knowing the car is sold first.
Will miss the car but was happier with the musclecar stuff. Like to customize/change stuff and its hard to do that with a Vette. If I ever did get back into a Vette it would defintely be another ZR1 Priorities demand this otherwise Id keep it forever. Last edited by cuisinartvette; 01-28-2008 at 02:04 PM. |
